Annual General Meeting
Kim gave her convenor’s report highlighting the activities and achievements of the year, and Karen presented the treasurer’s report. The meeting was then handed over to the Public Officer (Sue) for the election of the 2021 committee.

Flowers were presented to Kim to thank her for her hard work and leadership as Convenor for the past 12 months. The convener’s challenge for this year is to complete a gift to be included in a future raffle as a prize.
The Marjorie Horwood Award was won by Karen Matthews and the Margaret Goldman Award was won by Bronwyn Goldsmith. They were presented with their awards donated by Dawn.
Show & Tell
Liz’s beautiful Kantha stitched quilt. Appliqued, pieced and embroidered. A variation of Val Moore’s Native floral quilt.
Kim completed one more block of her Woodland Whimsy BOM quilt by Under the garden moon and the “Welcome Home” wall hanging by Shabby Fabrics.
Lynne completed a dinosaur quilt “Dinoland” by Kids Quilts for grandson Jonah.
Janice with a recreation of a baby shawl her own daughter wore and also showed a bag she made.
Sue made her 7 year old grand daughter Evie her big girl quilt.

Bronwyn with her friendship quilt and she bought along a pile of quilts in varying sizes from Pamela Ross to donate to charity. With Pamela’s permission, these have been donated to Interplast (a Rotary project that sends doctors to third world countries to train local doctors and perform facial reconstruction surgery on children.
