It was a very cold evening but still 11 members came to our meeting this week. We discussed our retreat at Riverside Oaks golf course later this month and possible ideas for our program for the rest of the year.

Lynne made a cute ‘Noah and Friends Baby’ quilt for her new grandson Charles Arthur born 24/5/22. The second quilt, pattern by Red Boot Quilt Co ‘The Land Down Under’, is for her 4th grandson Phoenix. His big boy quilt.

Annie is making shopping bags and cross body bags from donated jeans as a fund raiser for the school she works at.

Helen showed us the memory quilt she completed for a friend’s daughter, made using the mother’s dresses and photos.

Viive showed us a quilt that had been given to her from a school friend for all the work she had done on a photo book for their 50th school reunion. The maker was a home economics teacher who made the quilt for her son’s 50th birthday – quilt completed in 2001.
