We had a bigger turnout than the February meeting which is very encouraging.

We welcomed back Roslyn, Cheridan and Julie-Ann, all of who we had not seen for a while.

Show & Tell

Janice and Jill both donated some community quilt tops and Margaret Webster, a friend of Rosemary donated more fabric for the same.

Jill showed us her latest creation.

Rosemary entertained with stories and some jackets from the 80’s she had in her closet, still in great condition. The memories of our own creations came flooding back to all as she modelled these priceless garments!

Roslyn had some amazing Show and Tell with some Latvian needlework from her mother-in-law. She gave us all a sample of some new thread from Sew-Easy and a sneak preview of some new items that will soon be available at Hobbysew. I have used my thread and I can report that it is a lovely fine strong thread.

Kim showed us her work in progress on her Euphoria Tapestry Quilt.
