It was lovely to see so many members come and join us for our first meeting of the year. This was our annual “your trash is my treasure” evening. Most members brought along “treasures” to swap and there was much discussion as we sorted through the goodies on display. Thank you everyone who participated in this fun activity.
Show & Tell
There were a lot of members who had been busily finishing off projects over the Christmas break.
Kim completed a door hanger.
Rosemary was busy sewing over the break, showing us her apron and zip bag and also a beautiful quilt.
Lynne made a ‘big boy quilt’ and pillow cases for her two grandsons and also a quilt and bibs for her new grandson due shortly.
Annie showed us her bead work.
Jill completed a colourful quilt and showed us her bead work.
Bronwyn showed us her work in progress – she used hexagons from Margaret Goldman’s stash pairing them with a lovely border fabric.
