November 2023
Dawn guided us through this year’s Xmas decoration, a felt Xmas tree. We were delighted that the project was not too complicated and turned out so beautifully. Some ladies finished them at the “Sit and Sew”, all ready to hang. Thanks to Dawn for great instructions and she made it easy for us to complete by doing a lot of the cutting out herself. We really appreciate your effort.
Show and Tell
Karen had made a beautiful purple scarf using her “airport time” on her recent holiday to her advantage!
Christine has been busy completing her “Shabby Chic” quilt in readiness for her trip to New Zealand next week. Last I saw the binding was being sewn!
Judith had been to the wonderful “Tina” musical which many of us have seen and loved. She also showed a colourful star shaped pin cushion which looked “easyish” to make but maybe not!
Jill was looking forward to llama shearing this weekend, we hope it went well.
Christine had a couple of recently shorn llamas in her back paddock, and they certainly look different once shorn.
Jeanette told us about her baby French Poodle which she called Collette. Just gorgeous!
Julie-Ann showed a Christmas quilt and a Houses quilt both beautiful. Just need binding.
Annie showed us her possum block from last month that she had now mounted on canvas. It was perfect! Annie had an array of sock puppets she and her year 1 students had made. They were cute and amazing.
